A native of Rochester, NY, Dr. Prezzano graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with his bachelor’s in chemistry and biochemistry, and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from SUNY Upstate Medical University, where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honor society, reserved for the top 10% of graduating medical students. He completed his transitional year internship at Bassett Medical Center, affiliated with Columbia University, in Cooperstown, NY. Dr. Prezzano spent two years in a dermatology research fellowship, at the forefront of medical and surgical dermatologic clinical trials and research. Dr. Prezzano completed his dermatology residency at the University of Rochester. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals on topics of surgical, medical, and cosmetic dermatology. He has also presented nationally and internationally, receiving multiple awards for his research.
Dr. Prezzano plans to bring his expertise and passion for patient-centered dermatologic care to the Central New York region and to continue Dr. Bill Patrick’s legacy of excellence at Fayetteville Dermatology. Outside of the office, Dr. Prezzano enjoys exploring all four seasons in Upstate NY with his family, rooting for the Buffalo Bills, and an occasional round of golf.
